This book’s endbands and bookmark are French goatskin. The book is half-leathered in Alran French goatskin that was processed at Rocky Mountain Leather Supply in Utah, and its boards are wrapped in a 1954 map of California.
The talisman in this book is a Belgian World War II commemorative pendant. It was sculpted by Ede Valeriola, and its obverse reads: “A Nous Le Souvenir a eux L’Immortalité XI-XI-XI Ouevre Nationale Le Souvenir Belge 1914-1918.”
