Mästerskap
This archival, hand-sewn journal/sketchbook is made from 100 gsm, antique white Hahnemühle Ingres mouldmade paper from Dassel, Germany, made on the same site since 1584. It is sewn with Irish linen thread in the linked stitch pattern that was developed by the ancient Copts. This stitch allows the book to lay open easily at any page.
The book’s endbands and bookmark are goatskin. The book is half-leathered in Alran French goatskin that was processed at Rocky Mountain Leather Supply in Utah, and boards are wrapped in paper that was hand-marbled by Katherine Brett at Payhembury Papers, in Migdale, Southerland, Scotland.
The talisman in this book is a 1970 silver award from the Swedish National Sports Federation’s District Championship games. Salut to excellence!
