This archival, over-sized sketchbook is made from 80 gsm, white Mohawk Superfine paper.  It is sewn with waxed Irish linen thread in a modified pamphlet stitch.

Its boards are wrapped in a 1953 blueprint of the Hydrogen Manifold Platform for the Kyger Creek Plant, Ohio Valley Electric Corporation, and its spine is covered Brillianta book cloth from the Netherlands. 

The talisman in this book is a meta-medallion, a souvenir of the French Mint booth at the 1937 Arts and Technology World’s Fair in Paris.  It is captioned: Des Monnaies: Administratin et Medialles, Exposition Internationale, “Arts et Technioves,” Paris 1937, and its obverse reads: Exposition de Paris 1937, Souvenir d’une visite au stand de la Monnaie.
