Eiffel Album
This archival, hand-sewn album is made from archival, 100 gsm, antique white Hahnemühle Ingres mouldmade paper from Dassel, Germany since 1584. It is sewn with Irish linen thread in a pamphlet stitch. This stitch preserves space between the book’s pages for the inclusion of pasted-in items.
This book’s boards are wrapped in paper that was hand-marbled by Jemma Lewis in Whitshire, England, and its spine is covered in goatskin from Landwerlen Leathers in Indianapolis.
The talisman in this book is mid 20th century souvenir of Paris featuring the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is the most-photographed place on planet Earth. There are more than 5 million photographs of it on Instagram alone.
Includes slipcase with a 1936 Paris postcard on the front
