 This book’s endbands and bookmark are French goatskin.  Its boards are wrapped in a 1956 map of the United States of America, and the book is half-clothed in book cloth from the Netherlands.

The talisman in this book is a vintage ball marker from the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Course.  In 1956, the Masters Tournament was won by Jack Burke, Jr.  Sam Snead tied for fourth that year
